This is movie staring by Arimura Kasumi. It is called Biri Gyaru or a.k.a Flying Colours
For starter, WARNING!!!!This post contain spoiler. Leave if you think it will ruin your anticipation towards the movie. This is just a review on the movie according to my opinion, so no offend.
I found this story is VERY VERY VERY INSPIRING!!! Sayaka Kodo (Arimura Kasumi) is a 2nd grade high school student that admit she never learn since the last 5 years of school. She just came to school to have fun with her friends. Their teacher didn't mind them much (you can see it in the movie that there's no one paying attention to the teacher).
One day, her mother (Yo Yoshida) suggest her to go to a private cram school as she still have hope to enter university. The teacher at the cram school, Yoshitaka Tsubota (Atsushi Ito) is a VERY VERY VERY OPTIMIST person. When he ask Sayaka to answer a simple test, she got 0 for it and it didn't make him angry. Even after retest foe weeks after, she only managed to answer 1 correctly and he cherished it soooo much! He try to increase her motivation to study even she need to start from elementary school lesson.
She didn't give up and it is quite unique, about the approach that Tsubota-sensei used to give his students motivation to study. There only one year left to catch up with everything and she apply to enter KEIO UNIVERSITY??
Did she made it?? The answer is in the movie. Moral of the story, even there just a short time limit, if we struggle, if WE GIVE OUT OUR ALL EFFORT to achieve the goal, WE'LL MADE IT!!!
p/s: If you listen closely, Sayaka keep using her name to address herself even in front of her family.
