Let's share about the movie that I watched last night! It's called Initiation Love!
WARNING!!!! This post contain spoiler. Leave if you think it will ruin your anticipation towards the movie. This is just a review on the movie according to my opinion, so no offend.
My friend suggest it. She does mention Matsuda Shouta name before she gave me bundles of movies and drama last night. But I can't remember which drama or movie staring by him. But about around halfway of the movie....deta!!!!! Matsuda Shouta ga deta!!!! And then I ran out form my room and approach my friend and then.... scream!!!! LOL
If you watch the starting of the movie, you can see this:
It stated that there is secret in the movie and we must wait for it at the end of the movie. It was quite a long time to wait since the the run-time of the movie is about 110 minutes. But, trust me, it worth. It show how good the director, the screenwriter, the staffs, all of them in making this movie.
For me it was quite unique kind of movie but seriously, it worth to be watched (and worth of waiting). Oh, by the way we need to promise, not to tell the secret to other people or....it will become a really really big spoiler. So, sorry guys I won't really exposed the secret. Trust me, it's better to find out the secret by ourselves and enjoy it ^^
So, the story set up around late 1980's in Shizuoka and Tokyo. Suzuki starring by Matsuda Shouta attends a goukon and there he met Mayu, starring by Atsuko Maeda. There are two types of Suzuki in this movie, Fat Suzuki and Fit Suzuki. At first it was Fat Suzuki. Mayu attracted to Suzuki despite his looks than the other men that attend the goukon. For me it is sweet kind of story since I can see that she really like him just as he is. Sometime she's quite pushy as she try to persuade Suzuki to take driving licence, change his style make reservation at restaurant for Christmas. But, it was for their own good as they can meet often and go out.
They confessed their love towards each other when they realize how much they become jealousy when they see other person approach the other. After that, they start going to date. On the Christmas night, they having romantic dinner at restaurant where Suzuki give Mayu the new Ruby ring as she lost her Ruby ring; while Mayu give him Michael Jordan sport shoe. When they having their best time after the dinner, there is a couple that say that they're not match to each other.
That's when Suzuki determined to lose weight in order to be match with Mayu. Then, is turns to Fit Suzuki. Later Suzuki get promotion from his working place to work at Tokyo. At first, Suzuki will come to Shizuoka every weekend so that he can spend time with Mayu. But then works make him start back to Shizuoka less frequently.
Miyako starring by Fumino Kimura is also new worker at the Tokyo branch at the same department as Suzuki. Miyako also have feelings towards Suzuki. She wants to be with Suzuki even she know that Suzuki already have Mayu. She doesn't mind about that, as long as she can have Suzuki. Later Mayu tells Suzuki that she's pregnant. It makes Suzuki restless. He start to become violent towards Mayu and ran out from Mayu's house. Then he contacts Mayu and tell her to get abortion. At this time, I became mad at Suzuki. It was like, after he become handsome, it's become really easy for him to leave Mayu that accept him for who he was. He did accompany Mayu for her abortion but it still make me mad at him *^*
Few weeks after the abortion, Suzuki become more and more uneasy when he with Mayu. He then decides to break with Mayu and officially dates Miyako. But one, night, when he suppose to call Miyako at night after went home from work, he mistakenly called Mayu and then Mayu still called him Takkun as before such as nothing have ever change. Even, they already split few months. I found it something like fate. Like, even they already broke up but his body still remember Mayu.
In December, Mayuki invite Suzuki to her parents' home at Chirstmas. Suzuki realize that he have made reservation at restaurant for his dinner with Mayu. Then he cancelled the reservation and went to Miyako's house. At there, when he see Miyako change her ring, suddenly he remember Mayu and the moment when he give the Ruby ring to Mayu as her birthday's present. He dashed out from Miyako's house and went to Shizuoka as he thought about Mayu.
And then....
There's the secret that mentioned before this. So so so sorry. I really want to tell you guys. But I still thinks that it's better to you to watch it. Trust me. It makes everything more interesting. I watch this movie while doing some revision. But when it comes to the 'secret' time, I pushed aside my homework and focused on the movie. When is the 'secret' time??? When you watch the movie you eventually will know when the time comes.^^
